The aim of this project is to improve the practical skills and knowledge of the target group in the methods of DNA and protein analysis, using innovative training methods based on computer technology. Using these innovative methods the target group can perform repetitive self-training and tutor training for procedures that are very expensive and time consuming in the lab. The obtained new skills and knowledge will be an added qualification of the target group and will provide them a new competence facilitating easier professional integration in the developing labour market.

The aim of the project was to improve the language skills of the teaching staff of UM - Pleven, who are involved in teaching medical students in English. In addition to the main objective, the project satisfied the need of continuous actualization of medical knowledge on the basis of various information systems, which are available mainly in English. The reach of these standards aimed indirectly at raising the quality of medical teaching in UM - Pleven. This will allow further integration with the European Educational System and successful future accredition of the educational institution.
